Another first for VeloSolex Club U.K!

After successfully creating and introducing a Solex 1010 / 1400 Servicing Guide into the Technical Library, we’ve gone and done it again! This time it is a Guide to adjusting and disassembling the Solex S 3300 cyclomoteur engine.

The Solex S 3300 was a transition model between the round frame S 2200 and the upcoming square frame S 3800. Consequently, the model suffered from having a mismatch of parts – using the engine from the S 2200 but having the later fuel system which was then used on all the subsequent models. As it was only in production for a relatively short time, it appears the Solex company did not bother to produce a dedicated Adjustment and Disassembly Guide for the S 3300.

Our guide has been produced by combining the engine information from our S 2200 Disassembly Guide with the fuel system information from the S 3300 Service Guide. Once again, this would not have been possible if it had not been for the invaluable guidance and assistance provided by BrianSolex. We still took several attempts to produce the finished guide before being satisfied it was accurate and reflected all the relevant points. No-one else (as far as we know) in the Solex world has produced one of these books.
