Two more Servicing Guides have been added into the Technical Library.
The first one is specifically for the 1700 Solex. This had been missing until the recent purchase of a French Servicing Guide on eBay showed the important little differences between the 1700 and the S 2200 cyclomoteur. The new 1700 guide and illustrations now accurately describe the correct procedures for that engine without having to refer to the S 2200 guide and then work out the differences.
The ‘first’ for VeloSolex Club U.K. is the introduction of a Servicing Guide specifically for the Solex 1010 and 1400 models. As far as I am aware, this guide has never been written or appeared anywhere else. By combining many elements of the Solex 330 & 600 guide with other elements taken from the 1700 guide and then modifying the illustrations to show the correct features used on these engines, we have now filled that gap. This would not have been possible if it had not been for the invaluable guidance and assistance provided by BrianSolex. It took several attempts to produce the finished guide before we were satisfied it was accurate and reflected all the relevant points.
