Information available

Over the last few years VeloSolex Club U.K. has built up an extensive amount of Solex information from a variety of sources. As most of it was originally produced in French for the home market, it has meant taking the original information and translating into English. With the knowledge and assistance of BrianSolex, we now have a virtually complete set of verified English language translations of everything the novice or experienced Solex owner is likely to need. These can all be found in the drop-down boxes under the TECHNICAL LIBRARY heading.

There are owners' handbooks and servicing and disassembly guides for the engines, parts lists and torque setting charts for the S 3800 engine and frame (but they can also be used as a guide for the other earlier Solex models) Solex bicycle lubrication charts and a section containing useful information relevant to every Solex model. There’s even an extensive video section produced by BrianSolex showing the correct procedures for tackling numerous jobs on the Solex.

This facility is only available to VeloSolex Club U.K. members.

If you are the new owner of a Solex, the machines shown below may help you to identify exactly which type of Solex you have.
